Captain BOB was founded on a simple, powerful principle: no one should have to be alone when they want to share an activity. Born from the isolation of the COVID-19 era, Captain BOB is designed to pull us away from our screens and back into the real world. We make it easy to publish activities, find like-minded neighbors, and turn simple hobbies into shared experiences.
The Story behind the logo
At the end of the pandemic, I noticed a profound lack of human connection. After weeks of living through digital windows, the essentials were missing. I wanted to create a way to reconnect people right where they live.
I drew a logo, hung it above my desk, and spent two years imagining every possible interaction. From integrated chat features to carpooling logistics, I built Captain BOB to bridge the gap between “online interest” and “offline reality.”
